The Dartmouth Club spent an evening packing kits of basics for the volunteer health professionals who care for the medical needs of Portland's homeless population.

This year, the club was recognized by the college’s Communities Executive Council with an award! We were one of several clubs recognized, out of the 100+ class, regional, and affinity clubs.

We had a great evening at the Bishop & Wilde Bookstore hearing from Carl Sciacchitano '09 about his recent book, The Heart That Fed: A Father, a Son, and the Long Shadow of War.

We had a fantastic Happy Hour at St. Jack's! There was wine, there was cheese, there was a fluffy puppy..... We had about 12 people there, and nobody wanted to leave!

For the second year in a row the club ran Hood to Coast! We had several repeat team members and several runners new to hood to coast.

We held our send-off event for new students; this year, we welcome 11 new students from Oregon and SW Washington.

This year’s Big Green Affair - happy hour for young alumni - was held at the Emerald Line in NW Portland; thanks Corinne Robitaille ‘23 for hosting!

This July we held our annual Portland Spirit Cruise; club members and their families took a leisurely two-hour cruise along the Willamette River. About two dozen alumni and family were in attendance.

Great day for a walking and food tour of downtown Portland. Thanks to David of #sidedishmafia for the informative and filling afternoon!

Dartmouth Summer Scholars is a two-week summer residential enrichment program for academically ambitious rising 10-12th graders. Participants are enrolled in intensive, single-subject courses taught at the college level and designed specifically for pre-college learners. Dartmouth is currently accepting applications and the next round of review will begin on March 29.

Thursday, March 21st we had a happy hour at the Pacific Standard, in the Kex hotel.

In attendance were Kristen Colwell '13 Th'14, Peter (guest/partner of Ariel), Ariel Low '14, Carolyn '90, Hana '20, Shannon TDI '21, Melaura '92, Peter Wilcox '70, and John Jennings '77.

Our Eugene happy hour (3/8, at Coldfire Brewery) was a success! There were 6 attendees including children.

The 2023 annual DCO holiday party! We had around four dozen attendees, including current students, undergrad alumni, and alumni of Geisel, Tuck, and Thayer. It was great seeing alumni come out who hadn’t been active in college events for a while!

The club hosted a tour of the Japanese Gardens - a drippy day but a good group :) Thanks Bert Sperling '00 for organizing!

The club has had a terrific year with lots of well-attended and varied events. Thanks to everyone who has helped us grow by showing up for events such as the Holiday Party, Happy Hours at area breweries, volunteering at the ReStore, … . We love having opportunities for our alumni to meet up and enjoy each other’s company.

This Saturday we enjoyed a Big Green v Crimson football game! We were able to reserve and watch this in a separate room at the Lucky Lab in SE Hawthorne.
