Message from the Co-Presidents

Dear Fellow Alumni of Oregon and SW Washington,

Our club continues to grow with more events than ever, as we look for more opportunities to offer different types of events, and new locations outside the Portland metro area. Thanks to everyone who has participated in the past year. Since our last newsletter, we’ve hosted the Holiday Party, multiple Happy Hours, a Hood to Coast team, a tour of the Portland Japanese Garden, an author event with Carl Sciacchitano ‘09, a service event for Portland Street Medicine, a Dartmouth-Harvard football viewing party, a team for Starlight Run, a Portland Spirit cruise, and a walking food toour. All of these have added up recently to recognition from the College for the Dartmouth Club of Oregon.

We love having opportunities for our alumni to meet up and enjoy each other’s company. If you have ideas for additional ways to create community please let us know. We would love to hold events that will attract new faces (especially in communities outside of Portland).

As we hand the Presidency off to Devon Carew in January 2025, we want to thank our Executive Board for their hard work. Carolyn will continue to be our Alumni Councilor.
