Message from the Co-Presidents

Dear Fellow Alumni of Oregon and SW Washington,

The club has had a terrific year with lots of well-attended and varied events. Thanks to everyone who has helped us grow by showing up for events such as the Holiday Party, Happy Hours at area breweries, volunteering at the ReStore, casual get-togethers (including one in Eugene!), the Starlight Run, the Portland Spirit cruise, the Timbers Game, the Class of ‘27 send off, the Hood to Coast team, a final toast to summer at Amaterra Winery, and the Annual Peak Bag hike. We love having opportunities for our alumni to meet up and enjoy each other’s company. If you have ideas for additional ways to create community please let us know. We would love to hold events that will attract new faces (especially in communities outside of Portland).

With Autumn upon us, we often think of the New England-y activities we indulged in while in Hanover. We’re still looking for a good apple cider donut in Oregon!! Luckily for me (Carolyn), I will also be your Alumni Council representative for the next 3-year term and will have a chance to get back on campus to try to find the real thing. Let me know if there are questions/concerns that I can help you with. I look forward to representing our region!!
