The Dartmouth Club of Oregon is happy to offer a day at the Portland Japanese Garden, one of the premier such gardens in the world. We have arranged for $13 tickets, nearly 50% off the normal price, and if we get 15 RSVPs we will have a tour guide for our group provided by the garden.

The fall is a simply stunning time to visit the garden, with the colors of autumn in full splendor. Designed in 1963, the garden encompasses 12 acres with eight separate garden styles, and includes an authentic Japanese Tea House, meandering streams, intimate walkways, and a spectacular view of Mt. Hood. This is a place to discard worldly thoughts and concerns and see oneself as a small but integral part of the universe.

We will meet in front of the garden (11/11) at 9:45 am for a 10 am entrance. The address is 611 SW Kingston Ave. Portland, Oregon 97205 and you can park using the city meters, or a block away in the residential neighborhood for free.
